Manifesto

What we believe about websites, and how a studio should behave. Every line here is a promise you can check against the product.

What we believe

A website is a workshop tool: kept sharp, kept working. Not a trophy, not a brochure you frame once and let yellow. A site that isn't maintained is a tool going blunt in public.

Operated beats abandoned. The industry's quiet failure is what happens after handover: nothing. Most small-business sites die of neglect, not bad design. We stay, because staying is the product.

No retainers that buy silence. No “brand refresh” upsells. No holding your domain hostage. A studio's incentives should point at your site working, not at your invoice growing.

Plain words are the interface. You shouldn't need to learn a page builder to change your Friday hours. Say it; it happens; it's verified.

Accessibility is the floor, not a feature. A page that shuts people out is a defect, and we don't ship defects. Every page passes our accessibility gate — structure, link names, language, and contrast — before anyone sees it; nobody pays extra for the door being wide enough.

Prices are computed, not performed. The same brief gets the same quote, from a rubric in code. Haggling is a tax on people who hate haggling.

Your content is yours. Copy, images, data — exportable in full, at any time, no questions. Lock-in is a confession that the product can't keep you on merit.

Small pages are respect. Every byte we send costs your visitor time and battery. This site ships no JavaScript and no third-party anything; that's not minimalism as style, it's minimalism as manners.

Say it plainly or don't say it. No adjective soup, no fake urgency, no invented testimonials. If a claim on this site can't be measured or kept, it doesn't go on this site.

See it in practice

The proof is the product: this site runs on our own platform, and the process is documented end to end.

Judge us on the site, not the manifesto.
