Brief in, site out, operated
Sample portfolio
Three worked examples on the same platform clients get. For each: what the owner typed in the intake, the live multi-page site it produced, and what the operated half does after launch.
The three samples
Sample site (demo, not a client) · Bakery & café
- Brief in
- Neighborhood sourdough bakery — five pages, WhatsApp pre-orders, verified hours and prices (sourdough $8, Tue–Fri 7–14, stall Saturdays).
- Site out
- Menu, weekend pre-orders, and contact forms — open the live site and click around.
- Then we run it
- Seasonal pastry line, Friday hours, and pre-order cutoff — changed by conversation after launch, verified on the live menu.
Sample site (demo, not a client) · Professional services
- Brief in
- Yoga studio — class schedule, pricing tiers, and a calm booking flow from a ten-minute intake (no invented class names or prices).
- Site out
- Schedule, classes, and booking-style flows — open the live site and click around.
- Then we run it
- New workshop series, holiday closures, and class-cap tweaks — each request checked on the schedule page before it is reported done.
Sample site (demo, not a client) · Local trades
- Brief in
- 24/7 emergency plumber — services, service areas, and a contact form; every claim traced to the brief (no invented coverage map).
- Site out
- Services, service areas, and contact requests — open the live site and click around.
- Then we run it
- After-hours surcharge, new neighborhood added to the service list, and winter promo copy — operated the same way a client site is.
Every sample is labeled on the site and in this portfolio — demos, not clients. Each one links back to Kilnworks when you are ready to build yours.
What you are looking at
- Brief in — the verified facts and goals from the ten-minute intake. Nothing here was invented; the QA gate rejects copy that cannot trace to what the owner supplied.
- Site out — a real multi-page site on its own subdomain, not a screenshot or a mockup frame.
- Then we run it — the part most studios skip: changes by plain conversation, verified on the live site before they are reported done.
