Privacy
What we collect, why, and where it lives — in plain English, checked against our own code. Effective 2026-07-18.
The short version: these marketing pages collect nothing. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels — there is no JavaScript on them at all. The only personal data we hold is what you type into the intake form, and we use it to build and run your site.
What we collect
On these marketing pages: nothing. No cookies are set, no analytics run, no scripts load. Cloudflare, which hosts this site, processes your IP address in transit to deliver the page — as any host must — and we don't use it for anything.
When you start a site (the intake form): your email address, your business name and industry, your goals, the pages and capabilities you want, your languages, your build preferences (whether we write the copy, whether you have brand assets), any integrations you name, the verified facts you supply (hours, prices, address), any inspiration links and free-form notes, and an optional deadline. When you tick the terms box, we also record the date and time, the terms version, your IP address, and your browser's user-agent string — that record is our evidence of the agreement.
In your job portal: the messages you send us in the job chat, and your decisions (quote approval, concept choice, revision notes, delivery acceptance).
Why we collect it
To quote your site, build it, operate it, and reach you about it — nothing else. The acceptance record exists so both sides can prove what was agreed and when. We don't sell data, we don't share it for advertising, and we don't add you to marketing lists: we email you about your site, and that's it.
Where it lives
In a Cloudflare D1 database that we operate. Cloudflare, Inc. is our hosting provider and processes data on our behalf as part of running the platform. We don't pass your data to anyone else.
Cookies
None. This site never sets a cookie — not the marketing pages, not the intake form, not the job portal. Our test suite fails the build if a Set-Cookie header ever appears.
How long we keep it
Job records are kept while your site is operated, and the acceptance records for as long as they may be needed as evidence of the agreement. Deletion is manual today — we're saying so rather than pretending otherwise — so if you want your data gone, write to us and a human will delete it and confirm.
Your rights
Ask us at any time to see the data we hold about you, correct it, export it, or delete it. Write to hello@kilnworks.studio — requests about your data get a human reply within one business day, like every other dispute or billing question.
This policy is effective as of 2026-07-18 and changes only by being rewritten here, with the date updated.
